We partnered with MTV and Active Minds to bring the A.S.K. campaign to the next level but introducing a new interactive video at VidCon through an IRL activation.
Because the interactive video takes place inside of a cafe, we wanted to recreate that experience for VidCon int he form of a BobaTea Cafe. Once a person scanned the QR code we provided and watched the A.S.K. video, they were entitled to one free boba tea.
To create the space, we took the illustration style of the video and illustrated panels to act as walls for the cafe. We included the A.S.K. message and various nods to cafe culture and boba tea. We branded the booth with a cafe sign, archway, and furniture - we even installed shelving and flooring! To take the space one step further, we installed vinyl on mirrors to look like a text conversation to show visitors what each part of A.S.K. could look like for themselves.
The MTV A.S.K. Boba Tea booth had one of the highest visitor counts at VidCon!
